This place is beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and has the most relaxing and peaceful environment I've ever encountered in a hotel. It's also within easy walking distance from plenty of places to eat and get a drink or three, if that's your thing. Great experience, 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Showers Inn was a great find while visiting Bloomington! Very kind and informative staff. We stayed in the Roosevelt room. Very roomy and bed was comfortable and able to relax in room. Homemade cookie available upon arrival and delicious breakfast cooked to order.
Beautiful stay. Welcoming people. Breakfast starts at 8am but they leave out some pastries for guests who need an earlier start. We were walking distance from downtown city center!
The house is beautiful and centrally located. We were able to walk to dinner each night, and drive to the local winery to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. The only negative was that we paid for the balcony, but it wasn’t private. Anyone can technically use it (though there was a door from our room) and another room connects to it as well. It made us hesitant to enjoy it in the evenings in case our neighbors were sleeping. All in all, wonderful stay, and we will be back.
We came for the TPUSA event at the University. Easy walk, nice parking space, good location, close to restaurants. Beautiful spaces, friendly staff, clean, amazing breakfast. You must visit.
Our second visit to Showers Inn. Just a lovely experience! The rooms are terrific. Lots of character. We booked at the adjacent house, the Composer's House on the second floor with a peaceful covered balcony with a porch swing to watch the world go by. The grounds are peaceful with a fountain and places to sit outside. Breakfast is delicious and it's within walking distance of restaurants and the theater.
Very nice B&B. I had a room in the main house and I really enjoyed having the bay windows. The bed was super comfy. Rooms were very clean as well as the property itself. Easy parking. Staff was super friendly and the breakfast is delicious. I would stay here again for sure if every inn Bloomington. Oh and it's convenient to the campus as well as plenty of food and things to do in walking distance. Just for reference, I stayed in the Cassatt room. Picture included.
We absolutely love this place! Everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfasts were great. Many delicious things to choose from . Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The only 2 drawbacks was it was difficult to get hot water. (January) . No access to news channels only streaming services. We were happy that we could walk to downtown easily Absolutely recommend this delightful B &B.
